<![CDATA[Hump-a-day late: So much to read, so little time! Please let me make it easier for you: 1) KGB Bar in NYC 6/23/12: Oh what a night! It was a wonderful event, with the main headliners Christopher Allen and Matt Potter, and an open mike format that let roughly 15 writers the chance to dazzle the KGB Bar (rather an easy feat, to be honest...it's a dark and dingy space). The readers came from all over the globe, Germany, Australia and England, and the audience was very appreciative. And though some hosts would love to take full credit for any event, this one was really all about the excellent writers and readers. Bravo, to all of you brave folks! Here is one video, courtesy of Bill Yerger. And there are several more at YouTube: Fictionaut Reading, KGB Bar: Bogle, Vaughan, Vitoria, Yarrow – YouTube And because you’ve asked, here is the link to the piece I read at KGB Bar, “Ten Notes to the Guy Studying Jujitsu” (scroll all the way down to the last piece): Dualities | Orion headless. Great to see you during your brief visit to New York City. Your reading at the KGB was my favorite! Keep up your great writing, Robert.
Sorry I was unable to make your reading last Saturday! I was in Florida (don’t ask!) Hopefully next time. Thanks for all the reading links and all you do for the literary community.
These Hump day blogs (better late then never!) are so good. I look forward to them every week. Thanks!
I hope I get to hear you read your wonderful work someday, Robert. I’m sure you knocked them out with this great story told in lists. I love the video snippet.
